I miss Hoi An so much, including the food.
I have searched the internet but no one has recipes for Hoi An spring rolls or Hoi An noodles.
I can't wait to return...

The food in the pic looks so yammy. I want to head back to Hoi An right now. Wow. No, Hoi An is not an expensive place. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, Mango Rooms is expensive for Vietnam, though most of it was the drinks. If you look at the rest of my posts on VN, most of the other places we ate were in the $3-$5 range per meal, sitting on those plastic chairs you mentioned. We ate a lot of street food, but Hoi An is very touristy and there wasn't a lot of street food to be had. Plus, because it was so hot, we just didn't have enough energy to search it out.

Great to read these travelogues. Those restaurant in Hoi An seem really expensive!! $19 for a couple banh mi and a drinks?? wow! We find that the best food in Vietnam are not your sit down restaurants (with a few exception, Quan An Ngon in Hanoi and Saigon) but in small street side restaurants with the plastic chairs and market stalls where they specialize in one or two dishes and make that with pride.
