Thanks Tiffany! Yes, I've eaten peanut butter on toasted gluten free bread. It's not so bad. And no, I will NOT eat the tofurcan! I've just made a tofu "cheesecake" but the jury is still out (I haven't tasted it yet).

Word of advice.... STAY AWAY FROM TOFURCAN! (tofu turkey bacon) I couldn't even get my dog to eat it. It had the texture of soggy leather and the taste of.... well, luckily, it's been years and I've forgotten the taste. But let's just say that my former self who thought Cub Foods (like Wal-Mart) was THE place to buy bakery desserts, wouldn't even eat it.

Mmmmm... you've given me some inspiration! I went to a SuperBowl party yesterday and in pure Texas/football fashion, everything was meat and cheese and dairy tastic. And it actually made me sad that there was no veggie plate!! I ended up munching on a few pieces of grilled beef and shrimp (haven't had anything grilled in almost a year), and some awesome salsa.
Our friends Brazilian fiance made this awesome custard with limes and zest, too.
I know you can't have toast, but a tablespoon of peanut butter is a serving of protein, and if you go back to the basics, a peanut butter apple makes a really satisfying dessert!

Wow! My hat is off to you. I am going to try to use this as my inspiration for doing something similar. I will also add "Food, Inc." to my Blockbuster list. Thanks!!!
